Last year many didn't get to spend Christmas with family because of the snow and ice which began falling in our area Christmas day. Many were without power well into the new year, and cleanup took months.

Glistening like jewels adorning the trees, the ice was beautifully deceptive of the destruction it had caused.

The photographer captured this photo of a tree whose limbs were glued together by a sheet of ice glowing in the sun. Click here to see page two of these photos from the Rosedale Community.
